God is Change is a conceptual work based off of the Parable series by Octavia Butler. In these two books, Butler charts the story of Lauren Olamina, a queer, black woman who discovers her own religion, Earth Seed, during a dystopic period in the not too distant future. The primary tenant of this spiritual path, is that god is change, change being one of the few constants in human existence. Olamina (or Butler) states:

All that you touch,
You Change.
All that you Change,
Changes you.
The only lasting truth
Is Change.
God
is Change

This album was first released on Opal Tapes in 2015. NPR selected it as one of their top electronic music albums of 2015 www.npr.org/2015/12/11/458828330/npr-musics-10-favorite-electronic-albums-of-2015
